Registration

Registration is open to all persons interested in the Australian Population Association Conference 2022.

All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete a Registration Form.  Please read the below registration information before you complete the Registration Form.  Should you experience any difficulties please contact the Conference Managers at

Early Bird Registrations
To be entitled to the early bird registration fee you must have registered and paid by 26 September 2022.

*Student Registrations
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card. Students must be studying fulltime to qualify for the discounted rate. A copy of your student identification card must be uploaded during the registration process or emailed to the Conference Managers via email to apaconference@arinex.com.au. Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.

APA Membership Holders

Pre-existing members will receive an extension of 12 months or 1 year to their membership when registering. 

Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner is not included in the registration fee.

Vaccination Requirements
Travellers must provide proof of vaccination, complete an Australia Travel Declaration, and conduct Pre-departure testing. COVID-19 Quarantine
Arinex is not responsible for any mandatory quarantine fees and travel and border responsibility rests with the individual arriving into Canberra, ACT. Please visit the ACT State Government Department of Health website for up-to-date information regarding quarantine.

The registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

Student Registration

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.  Student registrants are entitled to the following:

Please note:  A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Conference Managers via email: apaconference@arinex.com.au. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Day Registrants

Day Registration entitles delegates to the following:

  • All sessions on the nominated day
  • Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, Lunches

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.

Name badge

Each member of the conference will receive a name badge upon registration.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Credit/Debit Card
The preferred payment method is credit/debit card. Accepted credit/debit cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Please note all transactions will appear on your statement as ‘Conference by Arinex, Sydney’.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers apaconference@arinex.com.au.

Registration Fees: Before Monday 26 September 2022 will incur an A$150.00 cancellation fee. Before Monday 10 October 2022 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid. From Tuesday 11 October 2022 there will be no refund.

Social: Payments are non-refundable from Tuesday 11 October 2022.

 

The program is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
